PitchDark Honors and Props
Jul 2nd
Ever since the release of Firefox 3.0 I’ve had an outpouring of appreciative and supporting (not to mention help related) emails. I’d like to say thanks to all the faithful users and I apologize for the lack of releases recently (especially on the Thunderbird side).
Furthermore, I’ve received recognition from the internet community:
- editors have selected PitchDark for Fx to be listed on CNET Download.com
- “PitchDark for ThunderBird 2.0.2″ has been tested by the Softpedia labs and found to be completely clean of adware/spyware components
- Mashable.com named PitchDark for Fx one of the The Top 20 Firefox 3.0 Compatible Themes Worth Upgrading For
Anyway, I’ll be settling in and getting to work on updates to both themes (See the PitchDark page for the list of fixes that are pending).
Ahhh, thebankshow is naked!
Apr 9th
If this is your first time here, you’re probably thinking to yourself: “Wow, this site sucks. It’s so plain.” Well for your information, I’m promoting web standards by participating in CSS Naked Day on April 9th, 2008 and showing off my <body>.
Have a look around and enjoy your time here.
PitchDark for FX 3.0.0beta release and more….
Mar 20th
After a few months of no updates to the project, I’ve submitted a beta version of PitchDark for Fx 3.0.0 to addons.mozilla.org. Users will have to wait for the theme to make it through the Mozilla approval process, but it should be up within the next week or so. Keep an eye out for additional updates as word has it there will be more visual updates coming down the pipeline from the Firefox developers.
I’ve begun work on an update to PitchDark for TB, including more bug fixes and proper handling of some of the more popular extensions (e.g. Lightning).
Visit the PitchDark project page for more information.

New Year, New Site
Feb 10th
Here we are with a new year (okay so 2008 is 1/6 the way complete, but it’s a new Chinese New Year and the year of the rat should hopefully bring me luck) so I present thebankshow.com: a revamped, personal website and my voice in the digital realm.
Readers can expect rants, raves and other miscellaneous entries on web design, music, travel, food, politics, education, the economy, the internet, cars, sports, and anything else that tickles my fancy.
Please stop back to read and comment, or subscribe to the feed.
